![]() Can someone explain what the problem is, please? Is it the alignment of the synthetic vision's runway? I haven't flown the TBM since the change, so I am hardly in a position to criticise! Just curious, and confirming Navigraph's position. I'm not even sure why the data fix causes a problem, if the G1000 (or any GNS530 or 430?) is the Laminar program mainly, with some coding added for the intro pages, and synthetic vision, etc. I am now using the 11.50 data (as from the day of the latest release), but haven't yet had to "fly" any ILS approaches in X-Plane, as I have been on PilotEdge with only visual approaches to my destinations - which were SKC in the RW! These will continue to be supplied from the X-Plane scenery gateway. With this data, we have currently identified 5 airports for which the necessary data quality is not assured. I presume Hot Start will have a fix for this, but I am not sure whether other designers have the same problem. Data made for X-Plane 11.41 or earlier will not assure 1000th-of-a-degree accuracy for localizers and can thus lead to ILS signals guiding the aircraft beside the runway. Of course, Laminar is now only updating their released data in the 11.50+ format, and they assume that vendors have had time to adjust their models to accept that. This is going to be a problem, as the current release of Navigraph's data (AIRAC 2014), which was released on December 31st., is the last time they will release data in the 11.41 format. It's my understanding that they don't give dates for releases. I understand that the ILS issue with the v11.50+ data format has been addressed in the new TBM 900 version that's currently being beta tested, but as I never had any luck getting it to work at all with this version I'm just going to wait and see what happens when it's released. ![]() Can't comment on other software as I have no experience using anything else. fms to the filename and save it in the right location it works just fine. I use Navigraph to produce FMS plans for the G1000 so long as I append. If I'm understanding what's been written elsewhere then - the TBM 900 should work with V11.50+ nav data with the exception of the ILS guideance, but all I can say is "that hasn't been my experience" the database date stayed around 4 years old until I used the 11.41- format and it's been fine ever since. fms "versions" - all I know is that on my model the database date on the MFP init screen was about 4 years ago until I updated it using the 11.41- format data using NaviGraph. When the TBM900 will be fully updated to the 11.50 version, which normally the target version ? If I enlarge the focus, that means that the navigraph datas for XP 11.50, airports, navaids, are also unreadable, it would explain inability to follow an ILS guidance I observed at arrival. fms plan, this one must be 11.41 compatible and not 11.50. Hallo Zusammen, heute mchte ich euch in diesem Tutorial zeigen, wie ihr im X-Plane 11 die NavDaten aktualisieren knnt. I own a Navigraph License and use SimBrief or LittleNavMap to produce FlightPlan. On the Navigraph website we use cookies and similar methods to improve user experience, analyze website traffic, measure ad campaign performance. Renews automatically once per year but can be cancelled anytime. That's why I use the manager now.easier to point back and forth etc.dragging and dropping tends cause files to go missing/corrupt etc.Ģ) Assuming you meant GNS 430(9).check your path and try updating again: choose only "X-Plane GNS430" as shown above.I've noticed that Navigraph can stall 24 to 48 hours after a new AIRAC cycle is released.so I check/update them all but end up doing the last one GNS430 by itself.or I wait 3 or 4 days after Navigraph sends me the AIRAC update email.Ok, I understand that TBM900 is not fully compatible with X-plane 11.50. Navdata for X-Plane and FS2020 Automatic detection of navdatabases Navdata for SimBrief. I've made that error in the past with XP10/11 backups on my Promise Pegasus. So your cursor sits on "Users/./GNS 430" and you get your full path. (I can update the XP11 and MD80 lines OK).ġ) You can check the path several ways the easiest is to scroll-over the shortened Navigraph e pic below. it downloads, but fails at the point where it would normally back up the old data. I Checked them all, and although I don't have xFMC installed (and it won't update- of course), I do have the B757/B767- but this line won't update either. ![]() How do I check the path that the manager is addressing?Īnother question: I now get 4 options to update: Rotate MD80, xFMC, XP11 and the "GNS439 / B757/B767/B777." collection. Thanks for the fwattyov: For some weird reason my manager seems to have found XP11- something I would like to check is that it's not updating an older beta of XP11 that I had saved on my G: drive.
